Don’t Hate and Grate, Celebrate the Women in Your Life

Don’t Hate and Grate, Celebrate the Women in Your Life

What a woman does in her life for herself and for others is what makes this world a place that has true purpose, as a woman’s nurturing heart is what makes children grow, a man’s life a strong well-lived one and a daughter’s life a well-guided one.

Here’s what daughter, mother, Brad Pitts soul mate, actress, director, UN ambassador and one of the world’s most beautiful women had to say, “The first thing in the morning, I feel beautiful. I didn’t always feel that way, but I feel that way now. When somebody loves you, and when you make somebody else happy, when your presence seems to make them happy, you suddenly feel like the most beautiful person in the world.”

– Angelina Jolie.

Not having the perfect figure, not having the right breast size and the perfect derriere certainly does not make a woman any less of a woman.

When Angelina Jolie wrote to the New York Times on her decision to get a preventive double mastectomy as Doctors estimated she had an 87 percent chance of developing breast cancer and now after surgery her chances of developing breast cancer has dropped to 5 percent there was a mixed response from people all over the world on her decision.

Many applauded her brave decision, while others were downright nasty. Their behaviour was simply unforgivable. Malicious people left comments on social networks for example ‘Jolie killed her breasts and many men’s dreams today’ how degrading!

How on earth do people become so cruel and begin to talk about someone’s bravery, someone’s choice to prevent breast cancer to stay alive for her children, for her family and for herself in such an ugly manner.

Angelina Jolie’s choice was a huge statement to the world-an example to be followed it’s not about how much you value your breasts, it’s all about how you value life.

If you think taking your girlfriend out for dinner, buying your wife a handbag, buying your mum a necklace or buying your sister a car, shows that your values are mixedous. Even if they don’t find it necessary to be tested for breast cancer or to do any other health check ups take them. Wanting the women in your life to be healthy, to live a long life is true love. It’s not about making your family look picture perfect, it’s about having a healthy family first.

Beauty, femininity, love and grace. Experiencing the ‘W’ factor is an amazing awakening ,it’s truly inspirational and a strength to keep on living for. The ‘W’ factor is the heart of a woman. Listen to the women in your world. Forget about their exterior. Get to know what worries and hopes their hearts hold. I wish to share this story by Kahlil Gibran with you.

Upon a day Beauty and Ugliness met on the shore of a sea. And they said to one another, “Let us bathe in the sea.” Then they disrobed and swam in the waters. And after a while Ugliness came back to shore and garmented himself with the garments of Beauty and walked his way. And Beauty too came out of the sea, and found not her raiment, and she was too shy to be naked, therefore she dressed herself with the raiment of Ugliness. And Beauty walked her way. And to this day men and women mistake one for the other. Yet there are those who have beheld the face of Beauty and they know her, notwithstanding her garments. And some who know the face of Ugliness and the cloth conceals him not from their eyes.

Learn to see things clearly, learn to recognise true beauty and ugliness and right from wrong.

When a woman’s body parts are spoken of like parts of a car in today’s society without any emotion it makes me wonder how a man can actually be taken seriously when he declares his love to a woman. Brad Pitt is right Jolie is absolutely heroic and I hope that all the wannabe heroes out there, men and women both stop just wanting to be heroes and stop degidding true heroes.

Become a true hero, stand up for women, respect their health, their love, their supportive ways and their being.

Come on everyone men and women, wish everyone a healthy long life, don’t hate and grate, celebrate and give thanks for other people’s existence and then your life too will be celebrated in return.
